Tyrol products

In Kufstein, they don't waste any time. Cheese, eggs, juices and wine go straight from the farmer to the store without any detours. The selection of regional delicacies in the Niederndorf farm store is huge. It's your own fault if you turn up hungry. Then you can order a sandwich right away.

We recommend because:

  • many products such as bacon, sausage and cheese come directly from the farm
  • Fruit, vegetables, eggs and dairy products from the surrounding area
  • from bread and dairy products to honey, juices and farmhouse schnapps - everything from a single source

Description

The Uminger is an institution in the Kufstein region. Located right in the village center of Niederndorf, the Umingerhof has been run by the Gasser family for generations. In the adjoining farm shop, visitors can purchase products made on-site—and not only that: the well-stocked store also offers a variety of specialties from the region. The Uminger in Niederndorf exemplifies how local supply can work effectively.

Behind the counter hangs house-made bacon, accompanied by traditionally crafted "Kaminwurzen" sausages. The display case boasts a wide selection of different sausage varieties: fine Extrawurst, Paprikaextra, Schinkenwurst, Braunschweiger, and even spreadable liverwurst.

Sebastian Gasser focuses on producing excellent bacon and sausages. The pigs he processes into bacon don’t travel far. They make just one trip as piglets from Upper Austria to Tyrol, where they spend the rest of their lives at the Umingerhof. The animals are well cared for, raised, and kept in a humane manner. The pigs are professionally slaughtered and butchered directly on the farm.
