Why bother finding out about all the trails in the Kaunertal when you can do almost all of them in one go on this tour. Of course, you need a bit of stamina, but in return you can ski down everything you've done uphill.
The Kaunertal circuit is a classic, medium-difficulty cross-country skiing circuit through the wintry Kaunertal, which connects various sections of the local cross-country ski trail network and allows you to experience valley sections, open meadows and the panorama of the mighty Ötztal Alps. The route offers varied sections with flat sections, moderate ascents and short descents, so that it remains athletically appealing and at the same time provides enjoyment of the landscape. Sections of the trail are also barrier-free and suitable for cross-country sledging.
The Kaunertal circuit: the big picture! With the exception of the Winkel and Grasser circuits, it runs through all the circuits in the Kaunertal. On the 8 km you will find everything from flat passages, fast descents to steep climbs. The loop runs from Feichten to Platz and back again. You will occasionally have to cross the road through the individual hamlets of the valley.
