Admittedly, neither "Schwalenrunde" nor "Moderwald" sounds particularly appealing at first. But it's not for nothing that this trail is one of the most popular training trails for the competition season, and that's why we rely on it.

Popular, medium-difficulty circular trail through forest and open winter landscape near the biathlon center
very snow-sure circuit, which is groomed early in the season until well into spring
quiet, natural atmosphere in the Lesachtal valley with views of the surrounding Alps
