Description

The tour starts at Steinach railway station/ Bergeralm car park and first leads via Plon to the Bergeralm and from there very flat to the Nösslachhütte. There you can also return in one loop on trail 529. Continuing straight on, the trail runs slightly up and down after Schlierbach and follows the Obernbergtal valley along the edge of the slope with a unique view of the valley. Above the hamlets of Gasse, Egg and Leite, the trail joins the Obernberg larch meadows to the Kastnerbergalm. There the trail descends to the end of Obernberg. You can then take the main road back to Gries railway station or return to Steinach via the Gasse district.
