Winter closure from November 1 to April 1 of the following year. All MTB routes and cycling paths are closed for safety reasons

There is no snow removal service on these paths and many MTB routes are avalanche-prone. Depending on snow conditions, some routes may be closed longer than April 1. For more information on snow conditions, contact the local tourism office.

Description

From the Alpbach tourism office continue to the Congress Centre, pass it until the junction at the Dorferbach bridge. Now the path leads left towards the snack stations Zottahof and Jausenstüberl Oberthaler. Then right along the forest road in long switchbacks until shortly before Thaleralm. Now continue following the trail over the Krinnjoch (1,670 m) to MTB route 351 Schatzbergrunde or back to Alpbach via Sieglbichlalm. Then continue over tight switchbacks to the paved road, turn right at the fork and pass the Alpengasthof Rossmoos (refreshment option) over the Dorferbach bridge back to the starting point.

    No permanent parking directly at the Alpbach tourism office. Parking available at the Hauptschule parking lot or the fire department parking lot (5 - 10 minutes walk or about 3 - 5 minutes by bike to the tourism office)
