From the Grüne Wand Hütte, 1.438 m continue your hike further into the valley towards Taxach-Alpe and take the right path, route number 515, at the fork in the road. After a short forest section, you will reach the material cable car of the Grüne Wand Hütte. The ascent begins to the right of the cable car hut. After crossing a bridge, the path winds uphill in switchbacks. Suddenly, the Kasseler Hütte, 2.178 m appears before you. You can return via the same route.
