And - how many waterfalls and mountain streams have you counted? The Stilluptal is probably one of the most water-rich valleys in Tyrol, with rippling streams to the left and right. How nice that there is an easy hiking trail right through the middle - with the best views of the numerous watercourses.

Water-rich hike in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Zillertal Alps High Mountain Nature Park. A family-friendly, easy hike in a wonderful landscape where you will never get bored. Wild streams are crossed again and again, ideal resting places and new perspectives of the numerous waterfalls appear regularly and several information boards teach you something about the nature of the Zillertal Alps. At the end, the Grüne-Wand-Hütte is a highly recommended place to stop for refreshments and has been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for outstanding regional quality.

    Description

     The  "Wasserfallweg" crosses several romantic streams between the Gasthaus Wasserfall, 1.108 m and the Grüne Wand Hütte, 1.438 m it leads past picturesque alpine pastures and offers a new perspective on the beauty of the Stilluptal valley.
