Description

Starting point is at the football field parking lot.
Take the forest road in the direction of Ottenalm/Riederalm, then turn right at the junction and pass the metal gate (Eisengatter).
Continue first on a wide forest road, then on a steeper forest hiking trail up to the Kugelwand.
A short detour to the viewpoint bench is well worth it!
The trail winds along the ridge through mixed forest, following the Harausattel to the Harauspitze.
After a few steps, you'll see the exit of the Kaiserwinkl climbing arena on the left-hand side.
At the junction, turn left and descend via steep steps to the Ottenalm (refreshments available).
Follow the forest road past the Riederalm (also a refreshment stop) back to the starting point.
