An old Lechtal wooden door on the Baichlstein symbolically invites you to take a different view of the world. And indeed: the view of the Lechauen is different. Different and beautiful. Different, of course.
Easy hike to the beautiful Baichlstein viewpoint, which offers views in both directions down to the Lech. Behind the artistic door at the summit, the extraordinary view of the "Lechzopf", as the Lechauen are also known, opens up. No refreshments along the way, suitable for children.
Walk in a southerly direction along the romantic Lech to the bridge and cross it. After the bridge, follow the signpost "Zum Baichlstein". First take the wide road to the fork in the path, then turn left along the forest path, climbing slightly around the Baichlstein. The last steep section up the Baichlstein is on the hiking trail.
Now you can admire the unique Lechzopf - and enjoy the beautiful view of the upper Lechtal valley.
Return to the fork in the trail towards Moos, then turn left towards Vorderhornbach. The beautifully laid out high-level trail blends harmoniously into the landscape. You reach the settlement of Schröfle and walk along the village road to the village hall.
Now walk along the Lechweg to Stanzach.
