Equipment

Good equipment is essential for your hike. The following items should definitely be in your rucksack: - Food and drink - Functional clothing for rain, wind and cold - A change of clothes - Sun protection - First aid kit - Mobile phone with a full battery (Euro emergency number 112) - Hiking map or GPS - Hiking poles Nevertheless, the following applies: light luggage is also easier to carry, so you should not weigh down your rucksack with unnecessary ballast. In addition, your hiking equipment should of course also be adapted to your particular hiking tour.

Description

Start your hike at the Bockbach junction on the main road in the direction of Warth, where you will find car parks and the hiking bus stop.
Your route continues along a tarmac road, past the Birchetsgump alpine village to the Vordere Bockbachalm. The hut is on the left-hand side just after the bridge over the Bockbach.
Your narrow path begins at the Almwirtschaft Bockbach, which immediately becomes quite steep. It climbs steadily for the remaining 330 metres up to the Älpele, which can be seen from afar. The hut is not open to the public.
