The Stubai Glacier also has a lot to offer in summer. Guests can easily reach the Schaufeljoch at 3,170 meters above sea level on the two tricable gondolas Eisgratbahn I and II as well as the Schaufeljochbahn. Up there, the curved "Top of Tyrol" viewing platform invites you to enjoy a panoramic view of 109 three-thousand-metre peaks.

We recommend because:

  • High-altitude playground with a six-meter-high mammoth at the Eisgrat mountain station
  • Several via ferratas and scrambles in front of the glacier backdrop
  • breathtaking view from the Eisgrat restaurant at an altitude of almost 2,900 meters
