Mountain railway Gondelbahn Fendels-Ried and Sesselbahn Sattelboden

Ried im Oberinntal

Starting in the village of Ried, the Gondelbahn Fendels-Ried transports visitors up to Fendels. In the centre of this pretty village stands a four-man chairlift which takes them up into the mountains above. From the top there are fantastic views of the Kaunertal Valley and plenty of well-signposted walking and hiking trails, some of which are suitable for pushchairs and buggies. Between the Anton-Renk-Hütte hut and the Stalanzer Alm hut there is the "Fallender Bach", a 160-metre-high waterfall. A good place to relax is the sunny terrace of the Bergrestaurant Sattelklause. Children and the young at heart will find trampolines, swings and a water park at the Abenteuerwald Sattelboden.
