The Kaunertal Glacier Road takes you to the Karlesjochbahn valley station. From there, the gondola lift takes you up to over 3,000 meters above sea level. Once at the top, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of glacier ice in the middle of summer.

  • ...a magnificent view of the Austrian, Italian and Swiss Alps awaits you on the Dreiländerblick viewing platform (barrier-free!)
  • ...just 300 meters from the valley station, an accessible crevasse provides insights into ice that is over 100 years old (July and August)
