Mountain railway Rofanseilbahn

Leaving from the village of Maurach, the Rofanseilbahn cable car transports visitors in a matter of just a few minutes up to 1,840 metres above sea level. The top station of the cable car is the starting point for many hikes for a range of ages and fitness levels. There are also a number of huts and restaurants serving food. One of the most eye-catching highlights is the "AirRofan Skyglider", while the nearby eagle's nest viewing platform has breathtaking views. Adrenaline junkies can take on the via ferrata fixed-rope climbing trail leading up over five summits in the Rofan Mountains.
