Description

How to get there: Continue straight on after the Schatzberg lift in Auffach. Turn rights at Haus am Wildbach into Aschbachweg. Pass Alpbodenhof, parking in the next bend. Limited parking!

The tour starts off flat along the forest path, after a short time turn right across the field and continue through the woods. Pass by the idyllic Tals and Grasing Alms. A rest stop above the Grasing Alm offers a wonderful view. Once on the Gern saddle choose between the Joel or the Schatzberg Mountains.
If the conditions aren't perfect, the descent down the Schatzberg home run is an good alternative.
