The family-friendly Achensee Nord bathing beach in Achenkirch at the northern end of the lake offers a separate bathing area, children's playground, lawns beach, beach volleyball court, kiosk and nearby restaurants.
The Achensee Nord bathing beach has a separate bathing area, a well-kept lawns beach, an adventure and water playground and a beach volleyball court. There is a snack bar, toilets and nearby restaurants. Boat hire is available nearby. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the lido. They must be kept on a lash on the promenade nearby.
Achensee North bathing beach is easy to reach by bus and boat. Take the regional bus (lines 4080 or 390) to the stop "Achenkirch Fischerwirt" or "Achenkirch Alpen Caravan Park". Boats stop at the nearby Scholastika pier. From there, the beach is about 550 metres away and can be reached by a short walk.
