Beach Seespitz
The bathing beach Seespitz in Maurach offers shallow lake access, sanitary facilities, and nearby parking. Admission is free, and dogs are welcome. From the shore, you can see the historic Achensee steam cog railway passing by, while kitesurfers perform their manoeuvres on the water. The Easykite kite school is located directly on the beach. The shipping pier and the railway terminus are just 350 metres away, a short 5-minute walk.
