The Bichlalm in Hintertux proves once again that we almost always combine Tyrolean tobogganing with a culinary and sociable component. The beautifully situated alpine pasture is a popular excursion destination all year round, and in winter you can whizz down into the valley on a toboggan.
The Bichlalm is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in Tux with a marvellous view of the Hintertux Glacier.
And in winter? That's when it's best to get on a toboggan! A family-friendly winter hiking trail leads sledging enthusiasts to the Bichlalm in winter. And if you've eaten your fill and seen enough, hire a toboggan and experience pure action on the three-kilometre-long toboggan run. Incidentally, it is floodlit in the evening. Day parking lot at the bottom station of the Hintetux Glacier cable car
Entrance to Hintertux - turn right (signposted Bichlalm) - a few parking spaces are available at the shared stable in Hintertux 734 / end of the toboggan run.
There ist also the option of using parking lot 2 from the Hintertux Glacier, just before the toboggan entrance. The best way to get to Hintertux is the use of public transportation, such as the Tuxer Sportbus or line 4104 from Mayrhofen to Hintertux.
