We have a tip for the perfect tobogganing evening: take the bus to Lanersbach, climb up to the hut at dusk, get into the cozy parlor, make the difficult decision for one of the many good dishes (definitely go for the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert), then whizz down the floodlit toboggan run into the valley. Do the same the next evening.

The Höllensteinhütte is one of the most popular excursion destinations in Tux with a magnificent view of the Tux Alps.
And in winter? The best way to do this is on a toboggan! A family-friendly winter hiking trail leads tobogganing enthusiasts to the Höllensteinhütte. After a refreshment stop at the hut, you can hire a toboggan and experience pure action on the almost four-kilometre-long toboggan run. Incidentally, it is floodlit in the evening.
