Parking directly at the beginning of the toboggan run.
6 hairpin bends, 155 vertical meters, 30 minutes of walking time - that's easy for children, or even for parents pulling the little ones up on the toboggan. The Lienz Dolomites toboggan run at the foot of the Rauchkofel is a great family toboggan run.
This toboggan run at the foot of the Rauchkofel can be perfectly combined with a winter hike and a picnic in the best panoramic location - always worth a recommendation, even in the evening under a starry sky.
The natural toboggan run is located at the foot of the Rauchkofel and is 1.1 km long. After a 30-minute climb with around six hairpin bends and a height difference of 155 m, you will reach the starting hut (not open to the public). From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the town of Lienz. The toboggan run is illuminated until 10 p.m. and has been awarded the Tyrolean Natural Toboggan Run Seal of Quality.
