The toboggan run in Maurach winds its way down over many bends, descending steadily through the forest to the valley.
The toboggan run is located near the Rofan cable car in the district Neu-Maurach. From the valley station of the Rofan cable car, walk past the Naturhotel Alpenblick until you reach the wooden bridge. After crossing the stream, the trail climbs along the edge of the ski slope to the first switchback. The fully lit trail ends here, marking the starting point of the toboggan run.

The valley station of the Rofan cable car is located directly on the Achensee federal road B181, above the centre of Maurach.
