Description

Despite the easy terrain and the low avalanche danger, not many people take on the 1,000 metres of altitude difference to reach the summit of the Blaser. Start at the car park in Trins-Leiten, from where you follow the summer hiking trail to the Blaser Hut, cross the forest road and continue upwards through the scenic valley. Across the Mähder and past some rustic hay stacks, the trail leads up to the Blaser Hütte (unfortunately closed in winter). Continue along the broad ridge to the summit of the Blaser, where a wonderful panorama awaits you.

Descend via the ascent trail back to Trins.
