This wonderful snowshoe hike impresses with its unique sunny landscape and the easily negotiable metres in altitude that need to be covered. A real pleasure tour!
The tour starts above the Jausenstüberl Oberthaler and leads along the Marienweg (Way of Mary) up to the Hösljoch chapel. Don't forget to pause for a moment and turn to admire the Großer Galtenberg! You will be delighted by this beautiful sight. Continue to two beautiful farms, along a sunny plateau towards Schatzberg. Be careful, don't miss the turn-off back to the starting point leading past other beautiful old farms. Return via the Zottaalm to the car park.
Where to get a bite to eat and something to drink: near the starting point at the Jausenstation Oberthaler or a little further down the road at the Zottahof or in Alpbach village centre.
