A round, where you hike through a large part of the hamlets of Fieberbrunn and get to know the village. Quiet winter landscape, forest and fields alternate with sociable hustle and bustle at the mountain railroad, in the Rosenegg district or in the village center.
From the village center you hike up to the Lauchsee lake and left to the valley station of the Fieberbrunn cable cars. Passing the Hotel TUI Blue and the Reither Bauernhöfe, you walk a short distance downhill to the road towards Eiserne Hand. In front of the inn, turn left uphill and immediately take the first turnoff to the left in the direction of Rotache/Pfaffenschwendt. Keep left and via Buchau, Schönau-Pertrach, Grünbichl and Vornbichl to Rosenegg. Cross the traffic circle, up to Hotel Chalets Grosslehen and continue towards Tragstätt. Via Mittermoos, Pletzergraben and the Reitlliftweg back to the village center.
Tip: This round tour can be started at different points, or can also be walked in stages. Use the free bus connection, for example, from Rosenegg back to the village center.
By bus: free bus service from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the PillerseeTal region. Stop Fieberbrunn centre (or others along the route). Free of charge with guest card.
By train: free train connection from Wörgl to Hochfilzen (regional trains) with guest card. Fieberbrunn railway station. Walking time to the bus stop Fieberbrunn Rosenegg Steig B towards the centre approx. 10 min. Or walk straight from Rosenegg towards Hotel Chalets Großlehen.
