A winter hike with a fairly direct ascent along meadows and through the forest in the direction of Hochkogel, which can be walked very well with snowshoes until the destination at the Egg farm. The magnificent panoramic view of the valley and the possibility of a toboggan ride make the tour particularly popular.
From the parking lot at the soccer field in Rosenegg you start on the right side of the meadow along the rolled track uphill and follow the signs. You can hear the laughter of the tobogganists whizzing down the toboggan run into the valley from afar! Below the Hochkogel, at the Egg farm, you have the option of either taking a rental toboggan down the track into the valley, or continuing the round tour via the hamlet of Weißach, the Gebraweg and the Achenpromenade to the starting point.
TIP: from the parking lot to the farm house Egg the tour can be very well done with snowshoes!
By bus: free bus connection from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the PillerseeTal region. Bus stop Fieberbrunn Rosenegg (Steig B, C). Free of charge with guest card.
By train: free train connection from Wörgl to Hochfilzen (regional trains) with guest card. Train station Fieberbrunn. Walking time to the bus stop Fieberbrunn Rosenegg approx. 10 min.
