Description

Our starting point is the tourist office in the center of Westendorf. To begin, we hike past the municipal office towards Holzham. At the Neuhaushof, we turn right onto the footpath to the Westendorf outdoor swimming pool. From there, the path leads straight ahead towards the hamlet of Au. We follow the road until we reach the Gasthof Aunerhof. Directly in front of the Aunerhof, we turn left into a wooded area. After just a few hundred meters, the path continues to the left through the golf course until we reach a road. We cross the road leading to the Lendwirt and continue hiking past the Waldstadion and Alpinolino Waldpark (football pitch and playground). At the parking lot, we cross the main road and hike along a forest trail to the Heim der Stadt Innsbruck, where the first "T" of the Westendorf golf course is located. We cross a small footbridge and return to the hiking trail, which leads us along the driving range into the district of Holzham. At the Niederbichlhof or Boarstadl, we turn right onto the village road and follow it back to the village center, where we have reached our starting point once again.
