Idyllic winter hike in the valley!

Description

We start this hike in the center of Westendorf. First, we turn into Bergliftstraße (left after the church towards Alpenrosenbahn). Shortly after Hotel Schermer, the entrance to the winter hiking trail is on the right. We follow this, crossing a road below the Alpenrosenbahn, until the fork at the "Dreiländerhaus". Directly at the driving range, we cross a stream via a small bridge and hike along the beautiful winter hiking trail towards Waldstadion/football pitch. At the football pitch, we could hike the small loop "Sportplatzrunde" or continue directly on the winter hiking trail to the right of the football pitch. After a short section in the forest, you cross a road and then reach the winter hiking trail through the golf area. At the end, you reach the road Au, where we keep left, hike a wonderful loop on the "Aunerplateau" and thus return to the Aunerhof. Now we first follow the direction towards Westendorf. After approx. 500 m, we turn right into the winter hiking trail, which subsequently leads us to the golf course. At the golf building, we cross the road and thus reach the already familiar route back to Westendorf.
