Pure enjoyment of nature! A winter hike through quiet unspoiled countryside to the farms in the Granbach district. The crunch of hiking boots in the snow is now and then answered by the crunch of cross-country ski poles when winter hikers and cross-country skiers meet in this silence. Along the Ache, the path leads back to the lively hustle and bustle of the village.
From the Tragstätt hiking / cross-country skiing parking lot, the tour first starts in a loop in the direction of the hamlet of Mittermoos. After that, the trail goes leisurely and without many meters in altitude along the gewalten winter hiking trail to Granbach. From there it's down the road to the footpath "Achenpromenade" to the hamlet of Rosenegg. At the company Erdbau Dödlinger turn right onto the road towards Hotel Chalets Großlehen and the starting point.
From the Tragstätt hiking / cross-country skiing parking lot, the tour to Granbach can be easily done with snowshoes. Return via the same path.
By bus: free bus connection from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the PillerseeTal region. Bus stop Fieberbrunn Rosenegg (Steig A, B, or C). Free of charge with guest card.
By train: free train connection from Wörgl to Hochfilzen (regional trains) with guest card. Train station Fieberbrunn. Walking time to Rosenegg approx. 10 min.
Hike is a circular route and can also be started from Rosenegg.
