The Reutte Nature Park region is an excellent destination for families. There are several small ski resorts in the local villages as well as one larger resort for advanced and expert skiers.
Both beginners and experienced skiers will find plenty to keep them busy in the Reutte Nature Park region. The region's largest resort spans the area between the Hahnenkamm and Hornbergle mountains. It can be accessed quickly and easily from the village of Höfen. Most of the runs are easy (blue) and intermediate (red), but there are also a few black runs such as the "Cannon Barrel". The restaurant at 1,730 metres above sea offers fabulous views and serves hearty local food. Another popular on-mountain eatery is the Cilli-Hütte. Skis, boots, poles, safety gear, etc. can all be hired at the bottom of the lifts. Visitors in search of easy slopes for beginners and children will find a number of small resorts in the local villages such as the Konradshüttlelift in Vils – Tirol's smallest town –, the Waldrastlift in Ehenbichl and the Moosberglift in Weißenbach am Lech.
