Walchsee Alpine Slide

Walchsee is home to an Alpine Super Slide, a large double alpine slide with identical slides side by side. An enjoyable scenic chair lift carries you from the bottom of the mountain to the beginning of the slide. At the base of the lift there are plenty of fun activities for all ages and some relaxing scenic spots to enjoy.

The Alpine Slide at Walchsee will speed you down to the valley surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery. Ride the quad chair lift to the top of the track at the mid-station. Hop on a specially-designed sled, and cruise down one of two parallel 1,000-meter-long curved tracks—you can race your family to see who’s the fastest! You control the speed in this action-packed thrill ride with dips, elevated high-bank turns, and a 90-meter long bridge. Practiced and inexperienced sliders alike will enjoy the ride down the twisting, turning, dual track slide. No special skills are needed and little ones can ride with a parent. Walchsee with its natural beauty and many family-friendly activities makes for a perfect summer getaway. Plenty of fun activities can be found at Zahmer Kaiser Play Park at the base of the chair lift, including a Skydive, Luna Loop and Nautic Jet. Pride of place is given to the unique Space Walk attraction, a moving platform where a single person can ride up to 20 meters above the ground just by moving their weight. A great day out for all ages!
