For the fifth year in a row, all eyes in the mountain bike world will turn to Tirol in June, as Crankworx, the world’s biggest gravity-fuelled mountain bike festival, descends on Innsbruck.
After making its debut in 2017, Crankworx Innsbruck will be back in June 2021 with gravity-defying action and breathtaking tricks by the world’s top freestyle mountain bikers amidst the spectacular scenery of Innsbruck Bike Park at Muttereralm. This year, Innsbruck is the only European stop of the Crankworx World Tour. Crankworx Innsbruck brings the world’s Downhill, Slopestyle, Speed & Style, Whip Off and Pump Track Challenge legends together with the fans, rising stars, industry innovators and the next generation of mountain bike riders for five days of competition, concerts, and mountain bike culture. We truly hope that by 2021 things will be as back to normal as possible and we will be able to welcome spectators back with the Crankworx Innsbruck that everyone knows and treasures!
Known as the “Super Bowl of freeride mountain biking”, Crankworx began in Whistler, Canada, in 2004. The 2021 Crankworx World Tour travels to Rotorua, New Zealand, Innsbruck, Austria and culminates in its Canadian hometown of Whistler, BC.
