Description

The newly designed Wörgl Museum offers a historical overview dating back to the Bronze Age. The history of the city of Wörgl, including its social and war history with the former transit camp, is highlighted along with local folk culture, crafts, and the history of regional industries. Among the rarities are archaeological finds from the Iron Age and Roman Imperial period, an extensive collection of notch wood, as well as the documentation of Wörgl's local currency.

Special opening hours for groups and guided tours on the topics of prehistory/early history and Wörgl's local currency available upon request.
