The St. Nicholas Church in Westendorf is mentioned for the first time in documents from 1320.
The gothic building was modified by Andre Huber in 1771. The frescoes, some of which have been preserved to this day, are by the painter Matthias Kirchner from 1774.
Between 1912 and 1991 there were further renovations, both inside and outside.
Among the treasures of the church's art are a "crucifix with the sorrowful mother," the organ, a "lavabo plate" from 1747, and the sacristy lock.
