St Nicholas' Church in Westendorf was first mentioned in a document in 1320. The Gothic building was remodelled by Andre Huber in 1771. The frescoes, some of which are still preserved today, were painted by Matthias Kirchner in 1774. Between 1912 and 1991, the interior and exterior underwent further renovation work. The church's art treasures include a ‘Crucifix with the Mother of Sorrows’, the organ, a ‘lavabo plate’ from 1747 and the sacristy lock.
