The St. Nicholas Church in Westendorf was first mentioned in documents in 1320.
The Gothic structure was remodeled in 1771 by Andre Huber. The frescoes, some of which are still preserved today, are by the painter Matthias Kirchner from 1774.
Between 1912 and 1991 there were further renovations, both inside and outside.
Among the art treasures of the church are a "Crucifix with the Sorrowful Mother," the organ, a "Lavabo plate" from 1747, and the lock of the sacristy.
