The St. Nikolaus Church in Westendorf is first mentioned in documents in 1320.
The Gothic structure was remodeled in 1771 by Andre Huber. The frescoes, some of which are still preserved today, are by the painter Matthias Kirchner from 1774.
Between 1912 and 1991, there were further renovations, both inside and outside.
Among the artistic treasures of the church are, among others, a "Crucifix with the Sorrowful Mother," the organ, a "Lavabo Plate" from 1747, and the lock of the sacristy.
