The St. Nicholas Church in Westendorf is first mentioned in documents in 1320.
The Gothic structure was remodeled in 1771 by Andre Huber. The frescoes, some of which have been preserved to this day, are by the painter Matthias Kirchner from the year 1774.
Between 1912 and 1991, there were further renovations, both inside and outside.
Among the art treasures of the church are, among other things, a "crucifix with the Sorrowful Mother," the organ, a "lavabo plate" from the year 1747, and the lock of the sacristy.
