Pertisau Parish Church was built in the 1960s to plans by architect Clemens Holzmeister and combines traditional Tirolean elements with modern architecture.
The parish church in Pertisau was built between 1966 and 1968 according to plans from the world-famous architect Prof. Clemens Holzmeister.
Traditional Tirolean style has been successfully combined with courageous modern elements. A white marble altar dominates the inside. Embedded in the apse is a stained glass window with the "Agnus Dei" in a round bronze medallion made of glass mosaic. The consecration of the bell in honour of St. Peter, John, Hubertus and Mary took place on 17 June 1973, and the Ave Maria is played daily at 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. from the church tower.
