Attraction Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus

Hall in Tirol

The church, consecrated for the first time in 1281, was expanded twice with the growth of the village and completed as a late Gothic hall church around 1430.The original pointed Gothic tower (1345) collapsed in the earthquake of 1670. It was subsequently replaced by the Baroque onion dome. A special feature is the Waldauf chapel in the left front part. The large relic collection of Knight Florian Waldauf has found its place here. The "Waldauf Mother," from the school of Michael Pacher, adorns the altar of the charming chapel.
