The Roman-Catholic Parish Church of Tulfes is located on the northeast side of the square-like expansion in the town center of the municipality of Tulfes in the Innsbruck-Land district in the Tyrol state. The parish church, dedicated to St. Thomas, belongs to the Deanery of Wilten-Land in the Diocese of Innsbruck. The church is a protected monument.Documented evidence of a church dates back to 1332. The cemetery was consecrated in 1486, and around this time, the lates Gothic new building was constructed. The tower was built in 1712. Around 1770/1780, the church was given a Baroque style. Renovations took place in 1839, a complete restoration in 1928, and an exterior restoration in 1959.Previously a branch of the Parish Church of Ampass, a curacy of Rinn-Tulfes was established in 1721. In 1891, the church was elevated to parish status and incorporated into the Wilten Monastery .
