Pilgrimage chapel Einsiedelei
The Einsiedelei Maria Blut pilgrimage chapel is located at the foot of the Niederkaiser in St. Johann in Tirol. The small hermitage has been inhabited by recluses for over 300 years. Currently, a sister from the Order 'Sisters of the Cross' is looking after this wonderful place above St. Johann in Tirol.
The chapel has a baroque pillared altar with a reproduction of the Miraculous Image of the Virgin Mary in Ré in Northern Italy.
Many visitors hike along the Way of the Cross from the Burgwiesen farm up to the hermitage seeking inner contemplation in prayer.
