Hall in Tirol

The short-term king of Bohemia, Count Heinrich of Gorizia-Tyrol (1295-1335), called his city castle in Hall the "King's House".In 1406, this was donated to the city by the Habsburg Duke Leopold IV, which has since used it as a town hall. After the great city fire in 1447, the town hall had to be rebuilt. From this time also comes the wonderful beams in the council chamber (1451), which today not only serves the municipal council for its meetings but is also a popular marriage hall.
