There is hardly any evidence of the existence of the Rudersburg, a protected fortification that is said to have throned here. Only a few features of the terrain indicate this. Nevertheless, the Kraftplatz offers an impressive view. And even without the castle, everyday life moves into the distance. Those who stay here can well imagine that the place was already a popular place of retreat in the Middle Ages.
