Attraction Ruine Thaur

The castle Thaur, first mentioned in 1232, was formerly the largest in the Inn Valley. The current castle ruin was restored and scientifically examined starting in 2003. Digital codes guide visitors through the site, and one embarks on a quest to uncover the history of the Thaur ruin. A beautiful walk from the village of Thaur over the Romedikirchl to the ruin offers a wonderful view!
