Showroom and interactive tourCulture and nature on the castle hill in Thaur. In 2018, the project "rundumThaur" was realized in collaboration with the municipality of Thaur, the Karwendel Nature Park, and the Chronos Association. The showroom, including the exhibition, is located on the first floor of the Romediwirt inn. 6000 years of settlement history presented in a varied and entertaining way. Learn more about the village patron, Saint Romedius, and the Thaur castle ruins.The showroom is complemented by an exhibition designed by the Karwendel Nature Park, focusing on "Owls." Fortunately, there are many of them around the Romediwirt in Thaur and throughout the entire area of the nature park. The exhibition includes mounted animals and also owl pellets with eggs.The journey of discovery continues outdoors.
