Alfons Steidl painstakingly forges lamps, candlesticks, picture frames and furniture from iron in Innervillgraten in East Tyrol. He also repairs pots, locks, grilles and other everyday objects, thus fulfilling the role of a village blacksmith, which has become a real rarity today.
