Attraction Tavonaro cross on Stripsenjoch

This beautiful cross received its name from Johann Tavonaro. He was the hut master at Stripsenjochhaus and an enthusiastic mountaineer.

Description

The Predigtstuhl main summit was first ascended by Tavonaro.

He constructed the cross at Stripsenjoch as a token of gratitude for his over one hundred summit tours to Totenkirchl.
