Emperor Maximilian I once stored his weapons and ammunition in the Armory in Innsbruck; today, it is a museum dedicated to Tyrolean history and hosting rotating special exhibitions, with full accessibility for people with disabilities.
Tuesday–Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Where Emperor Maximilian I once stored weapons and ammunition, visitors can now explore Tyrolean history and stories that bridge the past and the present. Various thematic sections shed light on sports and tourism, daily life and culture, settlement areas, and industry in Tyrol.
The Armory also hosts rotating special exhibitions on a wide variety of topics.
