Description

Alpine inn Ackernalm in Thiersee is situated at 1350m amidst lovely alpine pastures and between Thiersee and Brandenberg valleys. Surrounded by mountains easy to access thus suitable for families, i.e. the Sonnwendjoch (1986m), the Veitsberg (1787m) or the Thalerjoch (1775). The impressive view of the Zahmer and Wilder Kaiser mountain ranges as well as the Pendling peak is unique and guarantees the most beautiful sunrises in the region. A place to relax, living modestly and in harmony with nature. You will find rustic alpine pastures, shepherds with their herds and hear the tinkling of cowbells. You also might see wild animals such as chamois. It’s important for me to offer exclusively regional products from alpine meadows, the woods or the valleys carefully coordinated with my guests. Game from the surrounding forests, meat from our farmers, dairy products from the farm dairy, vegetables and salad from the green market, herbs from nature and the herbal garden, honey and eggs from our own bees and chickens.

How to reach us:
The Ackernalm, a place to relax and “coming home” is easy to reach by car on a 6-km toll road from Landl / Thiersee.

Overnight stay:
We have 25 beds in cozy 2-bed or multibed rooms with showers and washrooms on the floor. In the morning we offer various breakfast variations, i.e. a hearty alpine breakfast or a Bergfex’l breakfast for our sportive guests. My motto is "Coming home" and feeling good, getting pampered and enjoying the untouched nature in all its beautiful facets!
