The BichlAlm is located high above Kitzbühel and can only be reached by double chairlift or on foot (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes from the middle station). The Alm offers a starting point for hikes in the surrounding area and serves regional products such as homemade bacon, sourdough bread and yogurt made from alpine milk.

Since August 2014 Nikolaus junior and Nikolaus senior Gasteiger succesfully runs the new mountain restaurant BichlAlm.
