The Gasthof Almluft is located at the end of the road in a secluded location on the Gattererberg at 1200 m above sea level. We are far away from any noise, traffic, everyday stress and mass tourism. At dawn and in the evening you can even watch the deer grazing on our meadows.

In summer, our inn is the starting point for many varied hikes (e.g. Hamberg, Märzengrund - Gmünd, Wiedersbergerhorn) and walks. With any kind of bike (mountain bike, e-bike, road bike) we are easily accessible via an asphalt road.

Watch out kids - you won't get bored with us! There is plenty of action to experience:
- Large playground with trampoline
- Free pony rides - our Shetland pony Wendy and our dwarf pony Helga are looking forward to a short ride.
- Various animals around the house (rabbits, ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks, pigs)
- Nature trail criss-crossing through the forest
- Bee trail with show beehive and bee house

WINTER, SNOW, YAY!

There's always something going on on the Gattererberg in winter too - tobogganing, snowshoeing or touring, all possible from Gasthof Almluft.

FREE toboggan run & FREE toboggan rental! An approx. 2 km long toboggan run leads from the Almluft up into the forest. The toboggan run is floodlit for evening runs. Toboggans are available FREE of charge for our guests!
