Gasthaus Nester is a quality-tested restaurant and certified as a “Tiroler Wirtshaus”. “Tiroler Wirtshaus” stands for food prepared from fresh, local products, a cozy atmosphere in the restaurant and the originality of the dishes.

The highest quality ingredients from our own butcher's shop and the surrounding culinary regions in our mostly light and straightforward dishes, as well as down-to-earth hospitality characterize the business.

Georg Hauser Jr, the head chef, master butcher and, since January 2012, the fifth owner of the Nester, which has been in the family since 1840, follows his motto:
“The love of Tyrolean food, the freshness and quality of the products used from agriculture, waters and forests, the special focus on authentic atmosphere and architecture and the passion to combine these.”
