The Kala Alm in Thiersee is located in a dreamlike setting at 1,430 m where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. In the tastefully decorated dining rooms styled in Tyrolean fashion, we are happy to serve you a hearty snack with bacon, cheese, etc. To go with that, enjoy a glass of fresh mountain farmer's milk. Alternatively, you can choose original Tyrolean delicacies as well as international dishes from our rich menu. To quench your thirst, there is of course freshly tapped beer, a good glass of wine, or a schnapps from the "Mairhofer House Distillery".

And if the coziness seems never-ending, simply stay overnight at the Kala Alm. Even in winter, the Kala Alm is a worthwhile destination. A small ski area with a lift and a thrilling natural toboggan run down to the Gasthof Schneeberg leaves no wishes unfulfilled - toboggan rentals available on-site!

We offer our guests a small but fine breakfast menu. Treat yourself to everything your heart desires.
