On our farm there is the severance distilling right of Maria-Theresia. Thus, Sepp has made the production of fine spirits next to the music to his great passion. He has acquired the technical knowledge at international seminars and courses and through his many years of distilling experience. Our company is embedded in an extensive orchard. In these orchards our fruit thrives, among others the old apple variety: "Berner-Rose", wild stone fruit: the so-called "Pfraun", up to newer fruity, juicy pear varieties. The soil conditions, the warm days and cool autumn nights give our fruits the distinctive and varietal aroma, which is the character of our brandies. When our fruit has reached the right ripeness, the art of maceration begins. Only the best, clean fruit is processed. The fermentation process is controlled and temperature-controlled. In the case of stone fruit, care is taken to ensure that the pips remain intact during maceration. Great importance is attached to the gentle distillation of the mash. The clean separation of pre- and post-run is a quality criterion that Sepp Feichtner is very concerned about and always keeps in mind. Our noble brandies are brought to drinking strength with the best Schwoich spring water and mature in stainless steel or glass containers, where they reach their perfection in peace. The optimal drinking temperature of our brandies is between 16 and 18 degrees (room temperature). Distilling schnapps is still the good old art, which combines masterful expertise with experience and feeling. Thus, our column distillery produces excellent brandies with great care and skill, which can already boast various awards and prizes. You can convince yourself of the quality of our noble drops with a visit to our distillery. Our noble brandies are tasted in the cozy tasting room by the open fireplace.
